Avnet will host the 9th annual 16" B2B (business-to-business) Softball Desert Classic on Saturday, April 21st 2012. Time: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Tempe (Arizona) Sports Complex. It is the premier B2B softball event in Phoenix. This 16-inch softball tournament consists of men's and co-ed teams from businesses in the Phoenix area and it's a great opportunity to network with people and participate in some friendly competition. This year's winners of the tournament, both Co-ed and Men's, will received Suite tickets to an Arizona Diamondbacks game and the second place winners each received a $25 gift certificate to Don and Charlie's.

A great way to network, enhance your company morale and have fun. We are expecting over 32 teams and 750-1000 people in attendance at the tournament this year. The CEO vs. XTRA Sports game will be held on Saturday at approximately noon with a replay webcast on avnetondemand.com. Each team is guaranteed two games. There were will be music, food (like Vienna Chicago hot dogs and beef sandwiches and beverages served including Old Style beer. There will be clowns painting faces and making balloons for all the kids.

All net proceeds from this event will benefit Spark of Hope Charity, Toy Foundation and a few other small, local charities tab.
