July 15, 2010 - Avnet Technology Solutions Partner Summit 2010 Helps Resellers Strengthen Their Solutions Selling Capabilities

Event to Provide Solutions-Oriented Education and Training to Help Value-Added Reseller Partners Pursue Specialized Market Opportunities Created by Data Center Convergence

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), will host approximately 450 technology channel industry leaders at its Avnet Technology Solutions Partner Summit 2010 sponsored by Oracle, Cisco, Hitachi Data Systems and Symantec. The event will be held July 26-29, 2010, in Broomfield, Colo., and provide value-added reseller (VAR) and solution provider partners with a variety of educational sessions focused on solutions-oriented selling, ranging from developing a solutions practice to creating multi-vendor solutions for the data center.
