Open to all communications, marketing and public relations professionals at corporations, PR firms, public affairs agencies, associations, nonprofits, publicity firms, government organizations and independent/consulting firms, the PR People Awards recognize professional achievements as well as leadership qualities, volunteer efforts, innovative thinking and creativity.

"Teri has done a tremendous job of expanding Avnet's community relations programs by focusing on children's issues and technology education with strategic efforts that rally suppliers, customers and vendors around helping students of all ages benefit from technology," said Al Maag, chief communications officer at Avnet. "Her successes demonstrate how community relations programs can make a difference for people and enhance a company's brand, which will impact employee engagement, attract talent, strengthen customer and supplier relationships and increase shareholder value. Avnet is fortunate to have her, and we are very excited to see her receive the recognition she so richly deserves."

Among the significant achievements that caught the attention of the judges are Radosevich's creation of the Avnet Tech Games for local college students and expansion of Avnet's involvement in the Avnet Science and Technology Fair for middle school students - both of which led to Avnet's enjoying a 37 percent increase in awareness within the Phoenix area. With that success she has been concentrating on starting or enhancing the company efforts around the US locations.

Additionally, Radosevich, a seven-year Avnet veteran, has devoted a significant amount of personal time to counseling numerous nonprofit organizations on how to work with corporations and has also served on several committees and boards.
