May 2, 2007 - Avnet Time Named Best Performing European Distributor of the Year 2006 by FCI

Avnet Time has been named FCI’s ‘Best CDC European Distributor of the Year 2006’. Klaus Emme, president of Avnet Time and Michael Danylow, vice president of Sales, Europe, accepted the award, which was presented to them by Jean Lamy, FCI chairman and CEO, Gilles Rizzo, director of marketing, Global Distribution and e-commerce and Ronald Velda, European distribution manager.

“Avnet Time achieved the highest growth in our European CDC (Communication Data and Consumer) division and was also the most active distributor in the FCI CDC Design Registration program,” Lamy said.

“It paid off that FCI has the focus on the distribution channel,” emphasized Emme. “FCI’s very good customer service and support assisted us in outperforming the FCI distribution channel”.
