Award Recognizes Avnet IP&E as Amphenol's Best Performing 2003 Distributor in North America
PHOENIX -- Avnet Electronics Marketing, the largest operating group of Phoenix-based Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announces its Avnet IP&E division has earned Amphenol's prestigious "Partnership" Award. Amphenol's chairman and CEO Martin Loeffler presented the award to Avnet during the company's annual EDS award reception in Las Vegas. "This is Amphenol's most distinguished award for distribution," he explained. "Congratulations to the Avnet IP&E team for winning this important recognition."
Amphenol is one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. The Partnership Award was based on Avnet IP&E's highest dollar growth for all Amphenol operations in North America.
