(NYSE:AVT) focused on the single-purpose computing market, was recognized as Intermec Technologies Corp.’s distributor demonstrating highest percentage of growth in 2003. The division received the award based on its sales of Intermec mobile computing solutions designed to increase productivity, quality and responsiveness in global supply-chain operations.
Intermec and Avnet Applied Computing Solutions have aligned to deliver and integrate automated data collection, radio frequency identification (RFID), bar code printers and label media solutions for system builders, value-added resellers (VARs) and independent software vendors (ISVs.)
